State Privacy Rights

If you live in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law — California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and the growing list of states with similar statutes — this supplements our Privacy Policy and takes precedence over it where the two diverge.

Sharing for Advertising

No sale for monetary consideration takes place. Where ads run, though, cookie and advertising identifiers may be shared with ad partners — conduct that CCPA/CPRA and equivalent laws may treat as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing’. Opt out at Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Minors under 16 are not knowingly included.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to obtain a portable copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising. In states that provide it, you may also appeal a decision to decline a request. We will not discriminate against you for making any of these requests.

Categories at a Glance

Applicable categories are identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet or other electronic network activity (pages viewed, referring URLs, session timing on culturereader.com), and — where volunteered — an email address. Collected from your device, and from analytics or advertising vendors where those are in use.

Requests are verified via the email address used, handled within statutory deadlines, and may be submitted by an authorised agent holding your written permission.
